Everything
that the human being does has social function. However, in Art, I believe
that in the exact moment of the creation, the work should already have
a social concern. The function will be the consequence. So, in this
series of oils that now I present, I decided to approach the social
and economical differences that represent the current Brazilian society.
The initial idea would be to present something like "the both sides
of the same coin." However, it would not have sense to use conventional
situations, since the idea would not reach the intended impact. In that
way, after some studies, I achieved to the "Social Transpositions."
